Hello all, Could anyone recomend a good oil for the gearbox please, the car is a mk 2 mondeo 1.8 petrol 99 reg. with 120 000 miles. thanks Chris.

assuming it is a manual gearbox any decent 75 - 90 w gear oil will be ok

hi, according to my carlube oil data book, oil listed for manual gearbox is; ep75w-90 capacity 2.4-2.6 litres , if its auto its; atf-q3 , engine oil is; 5w-30 semi synthetic, capacity 4.3 litres ,powersteering is psf universal, brake fluid is dot 5.1 and coolant is premium red, capacity 6.5-6.7 litres total .hope that helps regards richard.
