i have a 1800cc freelander year 2000 having troubles selecting gears when its been running sometime seems very tight,reverse gear is even
harder its ok when its cold,anybody got any idears,would be greatfull for some help

SOUNDS LIKE THE WRONG OIL HAS BEEN PUT IN YOU WILL NEED 2L SYNTHETIC TEXICO MTF94 / CASTROL SMX-S THESE OILS IS ARE THIN COMPAIRED TO THE OLD 75 80 90 STUFF ABOUT A 15 40 OR SO BUT WILL TAKE THE PRESSURE / LANDROVER STATE OIL WILL LAST BUT DONT BELIVE THEM AT 35 THOU AND AGAIN 70 A CHANGE IS A GOOD THING THE TRANVERSE BOX WILL TAKE THE GL5 1.1 L ALONG WITH THE BACK AXEL LESS TO GET ALL THE OIL IN BE TACKFULL WITH THE LEVEL OF THE VECH OR YOU MAY NOT GET THE RIGHT AMOUNT IN THIS IS BASED ON MY 03 GEAR SHIFT IS LIKE MAGIC REVERSE DONT ENGAGE UNLESS THE REVS ARE LOW
