Remote locking problem

When I try to unlock/lock using the remote all I get is the back doors working, not the front. The boot unlocking button works fine. Is there anyway of re-booting the system to reset it or something. The car locks normally with the key, but not the back doors.
Is it an easy repair? Can I do it myself? Regards
