Remote Locking nor working

I have a 1998 Mondeo 2.0 Ghia.
When I use the remote the back doors unlock but not the front. The same thing happens when trying to lock except the *!#%!@ rear passenger door doesn't lock.
Any ideas which might solve the problem?

i suggest you get a haynes manual, it has wiring diagrams and diagnostic tips for this system, in detail. you could also try checking the fuses , and any relays if fitted are ok . sometimes the wiring breaks between the drivers or passenger FRONT doors and the car body ,this is because these doors are opened more than the rear ones ,gain access to this wiring and examine closely ,repair any that are damaged or chaffed. good luck richard.
