Please can anyone help me i have a T registered Punto 1.2 im having problems starting it i have to turn the ignition key for ages before it will start then when it does start it ticks over for about 30 seconds then cuts out again there is plenty of fuel going to the carb and i have changed the white cellanoid under the bonnet ive also changed the carburetter but there has been no change what so ever when im turning the key a red sighn comes on that looks like the injection spray sighn then goes out when the car starts can anyone please advise me thanks ???????????? :-((((((((((((((

i have a p reg punto that i bought it was running but has now stopped. the key code light in the dash has even stopped coming on the car will turn over but doesn`t seem to have a spark. also i don`t have a red key just the 1 blue key. if anyone has any idea what could be causing it please let me know

Hi Mos i have found an intresting development upon checking the sensor i found that the timing belt has only got 22 teeth on it lol its a wonder its even been starting il replace it as soon as possible and let you know how i get on ? you couldnt tell me how i should line the fly wheel and cam wheel up in order for me to replace the belt so i vave the timing correct could you please ? many thanks Tony =)
