Nissan Mistral - Terrano - Maverick (R20) Crank Pulley

Can someone please tell me how to stop the Crank pulley from turning when i try to undo the nut? It is a Nissan Mistral 2.7 Diesel Turbo, Automatic. Thanks in advance!
