Never mind, do you mean a yellow and lazy flame similar to a candle? or orange and otherwise ok? After a while without use the flame will draw in accumulated dust which burns orange in an otherwise blue flame, the flame should still be blue directly above the burner. this is ok as it should settle down and burn cleanly after a while, if not, further investigation will be required Yellow flames though means the burner tubes are blocked and your not getting the correct gas/air ratio, this will require a strip down for service before using it.
