Since I changed to Sky Broadband I haven't been able to get Incredimail. I really miss it because it's such a joy to use. I've tried removing my old Incredimail program but a while ago when I was trying yet again to get it, complete Incredimail was downloaded onto my PC but everytime my PC starts up it always says "Checking system configuration, unable to download installation script, make sure you are connected to the internet." This Complete Incredimail isn't listed in my programs in the control panel so I can't remove it and try starting again. Forgot to say sometimes when I go to email a page from the web to someone, Incredimail New Message automatically comes up but doesn't send. Can't send anything from the web with my hotmail program because when I go to "send to" it's always the Incredimail box that comes up, then it says something like "no profile created". I'm at a loss. Hope someone can throw some light on it for me. I can use my hotmail and Yahoo for ordinary emails with no problems but can never send anything through the "send to" option with those programs. Phew!!

I use Incredimail, I a have paid for it so, if your'e using the free version there may be some differences. I would go to their website and download a stand alone installer if you can find one. (I could not). As the installer seems to run from their website yuo us ensure that you are connected to the internet all the time that the installation is running. I see version 2 is out now. I use the earlier version and will stick with that because I know that it works. Good luck with this. SQEEZUM

Hello and thanks for replying. I use to get it free and used it for ages, it was only when I changed to Sky that I couldn't get it. How do I go about paying for it, I really would like it back.

If you can navigate to the Incredimail website there are links to a payment page. You get a license code which you put into incredimail. If however you can't get incredimail to work then thee is no point registering it.You could change to gmail which is on the google website that is browser based so you don't need an application. I haven't noticed any difference to email since changing to Sky however if your las ISP provided your email then that would explain why you can no longer access it. They probably deleted your email account when you switched to Sky. Regards Dave

I use incredimail and so went to the help centre to see if i can help. You mentioned sending problems with yahoo and hotmail and found this on the yahoo problem. I am pretty sure for a long time now hotmail is not compatible with hotmail, i used to be able to have hotmail come in with my incredimail and only when i changed computer and had to download incredimail again the settings wouldn't accept the hotmail anyway i hope it does answer a question and be of some help Yahoo! sending problems - Technical Solution Yahoo! recently made some changes to its email account configuration. These changes are causing problems when sending email via IncrediMail. We solved the problem so you can now continue to enjoy your IncrediMail! Please click here to download and update to the latest version from our site. Once installation is complete, please follow these steps to configure your account correctly: Open IncrediMail.
Click the 'Tools' menu and select 'Accounts'.
In the window that opens, select your Yahoo! account and click 'Properties' button.
In the ?Advanced? tab of your account properties make the following changes:
Change the port in the 'Outgoing Mail (SMTP)' field to 465 Check the 'This server requires a secure connection (SSL)' checkbox below the ?Outgoing Mail (SMTP)? field.
Change the port in the 'Incoming Mail (POP3)' field to 995
Check the 'This server requires a secure connection (SSL)' checkbox below the ?Incoming Mail (POP3)? field.
Your 'Advanced' tab should now look like this:
'see attached photo' From now on you should be able to send and receive mail using your Yahoo account without any problem.
