How do I rewire the electric window regulator on my V reg Xantia. I have the correct length wires but can`t get them both on the slider, certainly not with any tension. many thanks.

hi ,i take it u r trying this with the regulator off the door and disconected from the window thats how i did it on my xreg . i turned the halfmoon shape at the bottom of the reg as much as it would go ,this gives a bit more give,then at the top end get it as much round the wheel as u can and then gently (with help of a slot head screwdriver) ease it into the rest of its track.thats how i did it hope it helps.
