also the temp gauge does not work at mo ...any ideas what could be problem??
Non-working guage, broken wire, loose/corroded connection, fuse blown or guage faulty. If the thermostat is missing/faulty, then the car may not reach the proper operating temp. therefore the guage wouldn't register properly.
thanks for reply.. hot air blows through heater matrix into car so presume the engine is runing ok in regards to thermostat... will check fuse etc on temp gauge.any more tips greatly appreciated regards
Also, I had a problem with mine where I had the fuse box apart and on putting it back in the car I plugged 2 leads back into it the wrong way round and it made the fan come on continuously. Has the fusebox been touched recently?
