It may just have cobwebs in it, if you feel competent enough you can remove the 4 outer screws & remove the cowling, you then remove the 2 small screws holding on the alloy plate burner cover, you may well be able to see the fault at that point, i.e corroded burner etc. Switch it on & see what its doing. To go any further means you will be breaking a gas joint so you really do need to take care & I'm not recommending you go any further. So you now need to turn off the gas bottle/s, if you look up in the top left corner above the gas solenoid you will find 2 cross head screws if you remove them the gas joint will be broken & you can pull out the burner module, unplug it from the cable in the back of it & if it needs it clean it out, if its a gonner Gary can supply you with a recon unit exchange, or give you more advice on your problem, but you'll have to copy paste your question in his dedicated column, look for all carver cascade questions here etc. Keith ___________________ N.E.
