Houseboat contents insurance?!

My boyfriend and I just moved into a houseboat. We're renting it and the letting agents want us to get contents insurance. Just wondering if anyone knows of any insurers that will insure contents only on a boat (and not charge us thousands of pounds preferably!) Thanks.
