i have just got a used year 2000 uno 1256 petrol with a full inspection on driving the car 25 miles there was a bad petrol type smell in front of car.causing me to have to stop and vomit twice on the journey.i have checked for fuel leaks.any ideas would be apreciated

does it have a carburettor? make sure thats all leak free too and set up correctly. check the engine for oil leaks, especially leaking onto the exhaust and have a good look at all the engine beather rubber hoses.

thanks for that the engine is clean no leaks oil or petrol thought it might have something to do with cat as under driver seat but performance is ok
