Gearlever Gaiter Replacement (Dispatch)

Some nice leather replacements on Ebay but no fitting instructions. I can remove the base of the gaiter OK (just unclips) but can't see how to remove the gearlever knob (doesn't appear to unscrew as I expected). Any advice welcome. Presumably the same as Peugeot Expert and Fiat Scudo of similar vintage.
