i am changing valve stem oil seals and the head gasket on a 1800 m3 mondeo.and before i could mark the bucket tappets with a felt pen i tipped the head and half of them fell out and got mixed up.does any one know how is the best way to sort the inlet from the exhaust or the codes to find the thickness from the codes on the bucket. this may help i gess you may need a micrometer or vernier capliper to assist

I thought they were all the same ted, do they all look different? your mondeo is about a year 2000 zetec with a black rocker cover? ive done rebuilds on these and as far as i can remeber, they were all the same.

hi tony no it is a mk 3 2002 duratec engine.thanks eddie
