ROVER 214 ALARM

Key phob dose not work,we use the key yo unlock. Prior to unlocking the red light on dash flashes after opening the doar red light stays on. When u put the key into the egnition to start it the imobeliser will not allaw u to start the car (alarm sound comes from the)
Can anybody help?

Do you have the engine code.
I believe its the ecu code.
Its a 4 numbers. it overrides the immobilizer.
Without this you've had it .
Although I do believe you can hot wire the ecu.

Has the fob just stopped working? or have you had a flat battery. Have you changed the fob battery & done the resync as per the owner manual.
If stuck it is the eka code you need. It is on a card within the owners manual pack. You dial this in using the drivers door lock.
