Fiat Brava running on 3 cylinders

During a long journey last week in my trusty old Fiat Brava 1.4 petrol, the red injector warning light on the dashboard came on, lit up for a while and then went off again. It came on briefly a few days later, and then on the return journey home, started to miss running on a cylinder. It got me home ok, starts, is driveable, but is running on 3 cylinders, one of the middle two seeming to be the problem. The injector light lit up briefly again today for a few seconds. Can anyone offer help or advice please? Thank you.
