WE WOULD LIKE TO LIVE IN I O W ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE MOVED FROM THE MAIN LAND. BUT MY DAUGHTER AGE 25 DOESNT WANT TO, I WILL MISS HER. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

My mum moved there 3 years ago and loves it, we love going there for long weekends and holidays and she probably sees more of us now then she ever did because of this. so yes go for it and have a lovely time x

thank you for your reply but iam still uncertain about living there because my daughter doesnt like traveling too far, i know she is nearly 26 but she is single and id worry about her although she will probably be more independent if we do go. Where abouts in i o w do your parents live and if u dont mind me asking what age r they we r 54 and 56.

i would love to move to the i o w and i know many more who would like to go their.But me personally wouldnt be able to go and leave my children behind. it would mean us all go or not at all.But im very family orientated. and personally you only 54 and 56 and you still have time .Why go now? you could leave it a while longer,then your daughter may be settled with a family of her own or maybe more confident of travelling on her own.
