HI i have a windows xp and want to create a 2nd e-mail address, i have outlook express and want both e-mail adresses to go to this,if possible,anyone know what i do plz.

Not exactly shore setup for Outlook Express
But one way or the other,you will have to contact your ISP,either by phone or on line and give details of the name you wish to use,as a second email adds. then set up second account,on your email program.

HI so if i don,t use outlook express for my 2nd e-mail address,could i set one up say from hotmail or would i still have to phone my isp?

You would have to let your ISP know,I am running 4 email adds,with two ISP's,My main one,from 1998,I phoned up,at the time and gave details,my second two from O2,I did on line,as they supplied name and password,when I signed up,to set my up email account and they advised on second email adds,so I have option of 4 email accounts on Mozilla.
I cannot think any reason,not to use two email programs,out of curiosity download my main emails on IE7
It is basically setting up 2nd account,when you have detailsNick

You dont need to contact your ISP to create or set up new email addresses.Here is a list of sites which you can set up new/free email accounts with your chosen name and you can access most of them through your outlook express by adding a new account, and manually configuring the settings.http://email.about.com/od/freeemailrev......_pop3_email.htm Or alternatively whoever your isp is, sign into your account online and go to mail section and do a search for adding a sub account/secondary email.

Why not set up a free account on Gmail? Or as many as you want? you can then set Gmail to forward all incoming to your existing addie[ which happens instantly].You can then save space on your own PC by leaving the mail on Gmail and as they have all the spam and security filters that you could wish for,you will much safer.
