Another very eventful 2 days... a shar-pei was sited running scared not far from me yesterday, I went down to investigate. Unfortunately not my baby, it was a bitch who didn't look very healthy at all. I spent the night last night & 4 hours today trying to catch her. I ran, & I ran, there was a few of us, but this dog would not let you get within 20 feet of her. She was so so scared.
Eventually I wanted to try alone, & with a lot of patience & some techniques I learned from the Dog Whisperer, Cesar, I managed to gain her trust her, & after being checked out by the local dog warden & vet, she is now back home safe & sound :o) x x x I actually got really emotional when I caught her. I was sitting in the field with her until the others walked over with a harness, & I was just thinking about my baby boy.. I hope someone would do the right thing if they ever saw a dog running scared. No one should ever ignore a loose dog.. Call the local council, or local police, otherwise the dog could end up dead, or stolen like mine :o(

nat i am sure someone would take him in and call coucil and dog wardens ect ,
my heart goes out to her owner all sorts must have gone through her head last night .

In an ideal world all dogs would be microchipped so that if someone turned up at a vet's surgery with a dog never seen there before it would be scanned for a microchip as a matter of routine. That way lost/strayed or snatched dogs would be traceable.Hope he is found soon. We are thinking of his owner every day. Keep bumping.

Lets hope this lady has the same happy ending as the dog she found.
I am sure all our thoughts are with her and our wishes too for a safe recovery of her beloved dog.

I've linked the DogLost link on my facebook cuz i have quite a few friends who live around kent, hopefully they will keep an eye out hope you find him, i'll keep trawling websites for any signs
