Please can anyone help, the vw golf 1000cc v reg is noisey to me it souns like the tappets? and at times it seems to lack a little power,anyway have change the engine oil plugs ht leads rotor arm and cap, what could it be i ask myself,so thats why i have posted this , but could the tappets be done or are they hydralic,anyway thanks for your comments.

how old is your golf, it sounds like a 1979/80 v reg with a 1000cc engine, how many miles has it done

Hi Tommy, yes its a 1999 year smetimes sounds like a bag of nails,thanks for any help, Alan
