I have bought a 3 dongle on pay as you go, hopeing that I am going to be able to use it in the republic of ireland next week. I have 3 contract phone, and the signal is ok with that, which is why i went for their dongle. I will say though the three signal is good on my phone at home, we have tried the dongle but it was so slow, but not sure if this problem stemmed that i do have the broadband at home with BT. Question is does anyone know if the £ dongle will work in Republic of ireland or should i get a different payg dongle.

I cant answer your ? but I have 3 g dongle and three are doing my head in at moment. I have had three major issues with them and if my dongle looses connection not signal After tomorrow I will be on my 4th. I here 02 I think are supposed to be pretty reliable. the 3g phone signal is semi indipendant of the internet signal. 3g in the small print will state a minimum signal of 276kb which is nath all and uploading takes for ever as this rarely goes above 320kb (right now it 170kb. How ever my down loads varies greatly between 170kb to 4mb. Id go else ware personally if you can afford it
