Hi Benji,
You may also need to fit with a bigger carb to get the most out of your mods but jet five sizes up to allow for the sports exhaust. So if your standard main jet is say a size 70 then you need a size 75 jet.
Hope this helps, regards Stephen.

Hi Benji,
Yes you can stay with the standard carb but the engine won't be as powerful, personally I would fit something bigger like a 21mm Malossi carb.

What I meant by going up five jet sizes, have a look at the number stamped on the main jet. Add five to that number & that's size of the new jet you need. So say if the number is 70 then you need a size 75 jet to up-jet. I don't know what size jet is in your scoot so I'm just giving you an example.

Hope this clears up any confusion, regards Stephen.

There's only so much fuel & air you can squeeze out of the standard carb & if you jet too high then the scoot just gets bogged down & drinks fuel without giving you any extra power.
You can mess around with the jet settings but I wouldn't go any higher than 10 sizes. Click on this link for some helpful advice http://www.tunemyscooter.com/50cc-tuning/suz......e-tuning-guide/ regards Stephen.
