Cleaning my caravan
Messages 1 to 4 of 4.
There is a claning agent called Fenwicks that is suposed to be for caravans, I found that if it is realy bad use some ordenary T Cut as you would on a Car this will get rid of the muck, then use a good polish such as Mer and give it a good coating and buff off small areas at a time is best, then each time you was it down put some Mer in the water this will clean and polish at the same time.no hosepipe or jet wash needed.( just elbow grease but worth the efort) I have used it for at least twenty years, can be used on mindows as well. monty
Glad to see you are makeing progress, Yes it is hard work but it will be worth it in the end, a little at a time.By next spring you will have a nice shiney van"" With the window seals if they are very mucky use a large tooth brush a some hot watter and detergent, dry off and then smear with a very light coat of olive oil or if you want to splash out some silicon grease, either will stop them stickingand help to prevent the rubber decaying,do the same with the door seal also the toilet seales, wonderfull stuff is olive oil.
