Hi I have a 1996 Rover 420 Sdi and on occasions the dip beam will not turn on sometimes after I switch it on it will take several seconds or minutes before the lights work. A friend says it might be the relay How can I test this ? and which one is the dip beam relay I can find six in the engine compartment ?

hi, i would think its either the relay or the main beam/dip switch, the relay location take a look here
