Hopefully she'll still be around when I can buy although I'm now watching an Irish Sport Horse who is only 14.2hh and she is a looker.

Wow a week already. The time has flown.

Hi Tink,
Just to let you know that we bred "Bobby" Mochrum Bombardier.
If you want to know anything about him you are welcome to contact me via the website I can let you have picks of some of his relatives. We sold him as a two year old at Builth Sales and we always called him "Jack" from when he was first born. Don't know why LOL!
All the best with him he was always a very sweet tempered boy!

Dee

Oh my god that's amazing!!! Would love any pics you have of him or his relatives. That means yu own Mochrum stud, lucky you!! Still very sweet natured and loves our daughter and very placid for a 5 year old!! Did you show him as a youngster as very well behaved and acts as if he has been taught how to show. We love him to bits and couldn't believe out luck when we found him. Had been put in the sales at Beeston, and really is too good to be sold there!! Loves his food and is absolutely spoilt rotten. Hubby going to take lots of pics of him at weekend so will post them then. Which website should I go on? Thanks so much for letting me know really excited!!lol

Don't suppose you ever sell any older horses e.g five + that are broken in? Bobby's a beautiful young horse, you must be proud.

Thanks so much for getting back to me, it's really exciting to find out things about him as a baby and where he came from. He currently stands at 14h and is still filling out!! He is in superb condition and even though he had rolled and rolled this afternoon he still shone when he was brought in!! Daughter thought that I had groomed him and was annoyed that I didn't wait for her after school but I hadn't he just looks so good! Have got a few pics on here and will post them but not very good will get more on Sun. My daughter is joining pony club in Jan and wants to do ridden showing with him and I am going to try in hand. We think he will do well but we are biased as we love him and think he is the best pony in the world. She has not ridden him yet only been with us 2 weeks and we wanted him to settle in well first. Planning on taking things back to the absolute basics so that he becomes an absolute cracking pony don't want to rush anything and spoil him. Will try your web link in a bit. Please keep in touch it would be nice to and we will have to let you know when he wins his first red!! Any pics of him or his mum and family would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Lis. Pics don't do him justice at all hubby says he will take better ones on Sun. Stable has been painted since they were taken too. He is so spoilt. Brought him in tonight and left him with bucket, 2 nets of haylage and some carrots hidden in it to keep him occupied and happy lol Not fat just looks really well. Unsure whether to rug him or not. Growing a thick coat, looks really well but it does get cold up here in winter. Think I will need to get a waterproof coat for him so he can get longer out have been told that D's are very hardy so unsure what to do, what do you both think?

I'd get him a lightweight turnout rug so he doesn't get soaked and cold but also so he doesn't get over heated. D's are really hardy and he would probably be fine without a rug but with all the rain I think he'd want a coat, lol.

Aww hes so pretty! will be fab for showing and working hunter, will definately be in the top placements! :D

Id personaly rug him abit, as when they get really thick coats and are in ridden work they will sweat up alot as ts so thick and can then run the risk of catching a chill. which is why alot of people choose to clip their hairy little ponies and then just rug them up more as its safer. Plus keeps them cleaner! lol. you will defo need to atleast get him a cooler for after hes been worked and is sweaty to help him stay warm while cooling.

When is your daughter going to have her first ride on him? bet she will be ever so excited! :D

Thanks for the advice Minxii, unsure when she can ride him as still trying to find a saddle. He needs 16" flat back cob or extra wide and can't find a reasonably priced one as a starter saddle. Will look at show tomorrow. You are so right she can't wait!! I'm the nervous one just in case he bolts with her or something, know he is good and has the most amazing stable manners etc seen him ridden and even have pics of him jumping with previous owner but she is my baby and can't help but feel a bit apprehensive. Just being silly I know!!

Thats ok, iv seen a rug i so want for Zili as i just thinks its funny n cute, its on Derby house and is like cow print! its amazing, it would be his fleece to wear at shows! haha. im so not cool!

Yes i know what you mean, im borrowing a saddle for Zili atm, i want a 17' wintec with the cair system to start him off as he is still changing shape from becoming a riding horse from racer plus it will be light on his back, but can i find a decently priced brown one!? No! so annoying isnt it!?

Aww im sure he wont, i was abit funny about cantering Zili as he took off like a bloody rocket like he had just started a race but got used to it now! and like someone said to me, he wont ever try and buck/rear with u in a nasty way on purpose as your the one who feeds him, which i thought was a very good thing to say and probably very true! Aww im sure she will be fine, when your young you seem to be so much more confident and no fear! its as u get older u realise how much more dangerous things are! lol. Will you ride him as well sometimes? =] x

I think that I am too heavy and will look silly on him as quite tall!!!lol I want to do in hand showing with him. Never done it before so looking forward to it. He is so well behaved and will stand etc on voice command. Going to a show tomorrow to see what I will be up against!!! Did you read earlier in this thread that the breeder has been in touch with me? Really excited about it!! Just wish that we could find a saddle for him as the longer I leave it the more I am convinced he will forget his training, being paranoid I know!! Want to take it slow with him but he has settled in well. Loves my friends 5 month old foal!! Think a relationship has blossomed. She is a tiny little sec a so they look so sweet together lol!! Just love being around him and spoiling him loads!!

Ahh rite, how tall are you? depends really, as if he fills out we then you look smaller lol.

o0o let us know how the show went! If hes good when you show him inhand you should get your daughter to do the child handler ones with him too as she will be quite little with a bigish pony and if they have a good bond the judges will pick up on it! Yee i know wot u mean about the saddle though, as if they are off a long time you have to kinda start again, hae u lunged him atal? dont need the saddle for that but will keep him ticking over and keep his paces and voice commands going well.

Yep i seen that they hav written! Bet you cant believe it, must be nice, as you will be able to find out everything from him being a teeny foal which is nice, and little baby pics! how cute :D

Did u see him ridden before you bought him atal? did he come with any tack or rugs or just him on his own lol
