Hi I have a Vauxhall Astra 2000reg 1.4 16v, my cars engine electronics light lit up back in August, when it did the car juddered and had no real pulling power and I could barely reach 40mph and when I did the light would flash, when I turn the car off then put it back on the engine runs fine its got plenty of pull it just judders a bit now and then. We took it to a garage and was told that a fault was coming up on the airflow tempertaure sensor and a misfire on cylinder number 2 and multipul misfire. So we replaced the airflow temperature sensor and the coil pack and the fault codes were removed. After a few days the light came back on and the same fault codes came up, the leads and plugs were checked and they are fine. Ive been told it could be the ecu, so I was waiting for the garage to contact me to sort out when to have the ecu tested when on 19th Oct, the light went out but 2 days later the light came back on, then on 25th oct the light was on in the morning then 2 hours later after returning to it, it was off and has been for the past 3 days. Im not sure if it is the ecu or not has anyone got an ideas or had the same problem?
