I am having a problem with I think the gearbox. Whilst driving I get an occasional loud whirring noise it goes away when you slow down to a stop when there is a very loud thunk then all is well. This is my second Terrano with the same problem so must be a common fault, my other Terrano's gearbox went about 4 months after this started. I have asked mechanics and they say they have not heard of this and they need to hear it, but it is intermittent. If anyone knows what it is I would be gratefull for their input. Thanks in advance.
