Hi, i have a 306 diesel 2001 on a y, it's the 1.9 ac model, i have a kind of vibrating noise coming from what appears to lower down in the aux belt area, it sometimes starts off as a squeeking noise but then goes and you can just hear the vibrating noise, it sounds like an arch liner would if it was vibrating, it is every couple of seconds though,not constant. it isnt an arch liner by the way, just trying to describe the noise. i can hear it more if i get down under the car so it's lower down for sure.

more than likely its the aux belt needing adjusting.

check this and advise.
