peugeot 406 diesel x reg

my rear wheel on the drivers side the tyre keeps balding badly on the inside and when the car is on a flat the rear wheel looks crooked any one help please

my immediate thought was that it's been in an accident in that approximate area of the car, which has either upset the suspension geometry or twisted the bodyshell. Lift the carpet and look any sign of rippling in the boot floor and any sign of accident damage in the rear wing. Fixing something like this wouldn't be economical on an X reg car.

it could also be a knackered wheel bearing, much less serious: grab hold of the top of the wheel in question and attempt to pull it towards you, hopefully it won't move at all. If it does likely the bearing's shot.

I'm sure there are other possibilities too

your tracking needs done its either toeing in or toeing out its a 10 minute job for a garage to do wether they will charge you 10 mins is another thing its nothing major
