My beautiful cat mischief got killed by a woman speeding down my road about a hour ago, the woman didnt even come and apologise, she knocked on the closest door (which happened to be my mums house) and told my stepdad shed just killed a grey cat, he then told her it was prob mine and pointed out my house and asked where the cat was, she told him then promptly said 'it was the cats fault it came out from behind a parked car and i was going too fast to swerve' then while my stepdad was trying to get mischief out from under a parked car the woman got in her car and just drove off. I now have to explain to my 2.5 year old daughter that her cats dead. I was having a good day up untill then as had a nice visit from dee this morn and had a good old chinwag and put the world to rights like 2 old ladies lol. R.I.P mischeif xxx

Ah Amy, so sorry. What a b*tch! I'd drive head on at her the nasty cow. I know it sounds silly, but we've always said that Jesus is lonely so the animal has gone to live with Jesus.

Ah belive me tanya if id have seen her do it id have had a few choice words....my stepdad assumed she would wait untill he had got the cat and then came over with him to apologise but she waited untill he was half under a parked car and snuck off....whats really upset me is she admitted speeding as thats why she couldt swerve, what if next time its a kid? I suppose i should be greatfull she went to my mums or i wouldnt have known shed been hit as she was hit that hard it threw her under a parked car....at least she didnt suffer.

Oh Amy poor Mischief. I think it is a crime that people don't have to report that they have knocked down a cat. Fgs it is still someones beloved pet. I had one run over about 20 yrs ago, and me and my then 8yr old son found him dead, my son took his coat off and wrapped the cat up and carried him home we both cried all the way home with poor little Sydney wrapped up.RIP Little Mischief run free at the bridge.

Amy you are right, if that was a child, she'd be in big trouble. Gosh i can't imagine how it must feel to know that your tiny puss has been hit so hard it threw them under a car. But like you said at least it would have been quick and the poor thing didn't have to suffer. What a totally evil, nastly cow. Such a shame.

thanks bt lover, it doesnt help me being 8.5 months pregnant as im slightly hormonal lol, and keep bursting into tears everytime it think about it, my little girl keeps coming and giving me cuddles asking where my 'sore sore' is bless her. Havent got the heart to tell her why im really crying.

Ah this is so sad. But i think being so young, she might not understand and will probably just accept what mommy tells her, which is a good thing. And omg you are nearly ready to pop them i expect lol.

Iv just told her that mischiefs gone on a little holiday and she seemed to understand. Yeh not long now...20 days and counting lol, its gone so fast as when i found out i was preggers i did one of those tests that tell you how many weeks you are and it said 5 weeks so went to docs and booked in and had my 10 week scan....and it turned out i was 19 weeks and 1 day lol.

omg!! i found out when i was 3 months gone, but my friend (2nd pregnancy in a year but lost the first) was 5 months each time she found out, so hers seemed to fly by to!!

Ahh bless her.Lol that test was a bit off then. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy anyway, look forward to cooing over cute baby pics :)

So sorry to hear of your loss, what a coward the driver was not to come and see you and at least explain, you really don't need this any time but esp not so close to having your baby.
