I think on the transit this resistor is behind one of the headlights. If you can find it , then it is worth checking as quite often it is just the connectors that have overheated and burnt away. They can be cleaned up with a file+soldering iron as a temporary measure . In the long term a new replacement is the better option. They cost around £20 for a new one. Try Ebay......Put TRANSIT HEATER RESISTOR in the Search Box and go from there !
