just bought another st bernard, and she as a swelling on her elbow(see photo)...been to vets put her on anti-inflamotry tablets and i massarge it several times a day..noticed a slight differance...dont want it to be drained as saints aint relly good wi anestetic...does anybody know if you can get a deep heat for dogs,or any other ideas...thanks

silly question but could you not just use a deep heat for humans?
she looks lovely... How old is she?

I used to breed st bernard's my self that swelling look's wuite big i would be inclined to get it drained myself can the vet not do this without anethestic i think he may be able to, Beautiful dog.

hi...she was 1 last wk,been to a well known pet shop and he said about using a deep heat for children,im always funny abot giving dogs things wot are for humans....it as gone down a little since the picture...

i used to have a french mastiff and she had small sweelings on her elbows read somewhere that they need to sleep on something soft rather than floor and this will help this problem dont know if this is any help to you
