hello, i'm thinkin of gettin a puppy, but like anything else you av to be ready for them comin home... i'm looking for a shih tzu pup, i live in leeds and i was wonderin if any one can help me and tell me how much r the jabs (the 1st few that the av) so i no ruffly how much it will b after i get her.... thank you

Some vets won't do their jabs until they are 8 weeks old, others i think it's 10 weeks. Also, all charge different prices for them. I payed £25 for my puppies to have 2 jabs and a microchip put in, but i'm in birmingham, so prices may differ up your end. Overall, they aren't that expensive to be honest.

Hello I think it costs actually around £50 or more for a puppy to have their first vaccinations its not cheap unfortunately.

£50? Wow that ones expensive. Luckily my vets don't overcharge clients. You'd be surprised how much things actually cost, and how much vets overcharge people.
There is a lady on here that is qualified to do injections and microchipping, and she wouldn't charge you nothing silly to do it, but she lives in Gloucestershire, so that would probably be too far for you to go.

I paid £23 for Dylan and Maisies and I think the microchip was in with that.
£50 is pretty steep.

thank you for your replays, its given me an idea of what it'll cost..

tryin to find the right shih tzu is hard work lol. the is alot of con ones out there which i dint think ppl was so cruel to do that. but i suppose ya av to b carefull these days.

As you can tell iv got a shih tzu pup - iv had her 3weeks. her jabs are going to be £30 for 2 jabs, health check, worming and defleaing. And i live in bradford! so not far from you, i got my pup from a lady in leeds but i think her last pup has gone now but a family mmeber of hers comes on here so might know more than me....i paid £400 for her and with everything else - crate etc it came to prob £500

or thats great. will b gettin a crate of a family member which is gd, neva been used so i no that the dog will not smell any other dogs on it. lookin for a puupy bitch, which i no that its goin to take ages to get the perfect one, so startin now hehe!! my little boy and me can't wait :)

i just seen some shi tzu's 4 sale on ere, in the stoke area though!! scour the free ads on here never give money up front without veiwing the pups and parents!! then u wont be conned!! good luck

OMG how lucky are you lot!!! i have been talking to my vet about first jabs for my puppies and its 37.00 just for the first of the 2 i do believe i am being taken for a mug maybe i should go abit further up north lol!!

i'm goin to ring round quite alot of vets, wen i come to get her... we av loads where we r....

a freind of mine said that the got a package deal wi the hers and the other pups, as her auntie was the breeder. so it made it cheaper for her too

i had my gsd puppy vacs done by the rspca and the full cost was 30 pounds for 2 vacs and 10 pounds for microchiping but you have to pay for both jabs on your first visit that is to make shure you get them done
