Air Bag Lamp Always On

Air Bag Lamp Always On

Our Daewoo Lanos has just started to leave the Air Bag dashboard lamp illuminated all the time when the engine is running and when the vehicle is being driven. On Initial start up, the engine fires, the lamp goes out momentarily and then comes back on permanently. Has anyone got any ideas. Thanks chris.

its likly to be a dirty connector on sensor some where behind bumper. this should be checked then reset ecu. not sure how its done but you should see change from £50 for an auto electrician to do these for you

Hi Bas saph and thanks for that suggestion. I will check for a sensor and the connection. Chris.

hi

be carefull air bags arn't for messing with!. There is a corrct procedure for disconnecting them etc.

If it goes off it will cost a lot more than the change of 50 as Bas said.
