hi i got my gilera gsm in november and recently the front lights go dim, the rev counter spins round the indicators and the back light dont even work? also i have power in my electric start button but when i try and start it up it doesn't want to know?any ideas thanx

that happened to my sr 50 m8 all it was, was that next to ur battery there a few fuses (small coloured things) one of mine had blown and a new won was like £2 afta that it worked all fine!!
So test the fuses and replace the broken 1s and see if it works, if it dnt then ur battery might b nakered!!

the fuses are ok i still dont know what is wrong with it. one min its fine then next its dont work.
Does anyone know where i can get a workshop manual for gilera gsm (my bikes a 2000 model)? or a wiring diagram so i can rewire my bike.thanks

Mad man most of them are imports coz they dont seem to sell em in the UK. try havin a look at overseas websites.

i have seen a leo vince v6 exhaust online but you can only buy it over sea.
what is a better exhaust for gsm: giannelli, metra kit, yasuni cross or zen low?
and does any one know how to derestrict a gilera gsm 50? cause mine only does 45mph on flat. cheers cause i hate being the slowest round my area.

hi i got my gilera gsm recenty and mine came deresticed and mine does 52mph on a flat there is a resticeter in the very front of the front pipe and one in the back box they can do 60mph from just beening dericsted but i dont think all the resticets are in the exhuast though but if your gunna desratict the exhuast be careful cause i sorta *!#%!@ mine and i realy need a new 1 now :(
i am gunna try get a race exhaust.

i payed £750 for mine 2003 about a mouth and a bit ago but a mine had a cracked side panel but when i got it i had to get a new front and back sproket so if they orgianl owner hasnt replaced them you will have to replace them soon but ova wise from that ive had no proplems and ive had creat fun so far on it

you could get Big One exhuast 95 euros. go google images put in gilera gsm, it should come up with a picture with an exhaust on the right click on it and find it on the page. (in the middle of the page.) or you can get a giannelli race exhaust from http://www.beedspeed.com/giannelli_exhausts.htm search the bottom of the page and it should be there £125.99. BUT ITS NOT FOR ROAD USE! hope it helps

thanks ive already checked the big one exhaust before i liked that 1 but i dnt realy no how 2 order that 1 cause its all in a diffrent lagnauge ill check the ova website thanks for your help
