just over 35 on flat and around 42 down hill if its standard but with power pipe and deristriction it can do about 60 on flat 65 down hill

yeh man, listen i have a piaggio nrg mc3 liquid cooled. I have derestricted once and have got a Zx sports exhaust on it and i have hit 70mph on the flat. can go even faster. get a sports exahust trust. Get a zx they are the best.

if de-restricted it should do just over 60 mph and down hill about 70 mph mine is a piaggio nrg extreme DD lc 1999 and that is what i had out of mine

i hav a piaggio nrg mc3 liquid cooled and it is just de-restricted and can do 70+ mph on flat. i will be getting a zx exhaust soon.

couple of years back i had a V reg NRG MC2 dds. i put a DR 75cc bore, zx pipe, variator, rollers, clutch springs, reed petals and a bigger jet. i got 78 out of it on flat and it accelerated faster than all 100cc scooters and faster than most gilear125 and SR125 on top end.

hi peeps, i have nrg mc3 liquid cooled and wen it was de-restricted i got 60 on the flat adn down hill about 65 but now i have put a gianelli performance sports exhuast and now i hit 67 on the flat and 70+ down hill , welll fast for moped hey :P and im gettin my carbs re-jetted soon so it shood go faster hopfully

ur talking bolox. u cant get a ped 2 do 70 wen it just deristricted and wivout a power pipe... see the fing is wiv all u boys is dat u fink its phat 2 say stuff bout ur ped which aint even true... if i was infront of u on ir ped it probably do about 55 tops wen its only deristricted

Wassup people. i have an nrg xtreme dd liquid cooled which is 51 reg & tuned to the max. theres nothing more i can do to it. ive got Malossi evryfing frm 70 kit, gear kit, 22mm carb, rollers, springs, race clutch, chromed zx pipe. u name it. it did 30 wen i bawt it and now it dus 81MPH. ive got neons, CD player, subs. its goin in twist n go mag soon as ive run it in coz i jst had notha 70 kit n race crank fitted. im gettin flip paint nxt month. I LUV MY PED!!! (BOY RACERS H8 IT)!!!!!!!

i think you are wrong to think there is nothing that you can do to your nrg.. you might consider dynojetting it to to get it set up proper.. I've got a german import nrg (mc1) from late 90's that is only 50cc and hits 58 mph on the dyno (a modest 7.4Bhp) so there should be scope for your bike.. how are you getting 81mph? I thought your speedo only goes up to 80.. 2004 barrels are avaliable now so you should be able to squeeze out a few more ponys..

hey i tried to de restrict my piaggio nrg in the engine but i can't get the bolt off the cog because it kept jst spinning around. do u have any advise

Thanks 4 da advice regarding dyno-jetting my NRG. i hav considered this as an option in da past but my local shop n malossi dealer said it can be expensive n i havnt had the time or spare funs lately. as for 2004 barrels, were u refering to standard or 70cc and if 70 then who by eg polini, malossi? thanks again!

hi again.. i now have recently had my carbs jetted a 60 jet and has made a massive difference to my acceleration and is pretty rapid off the start now and top end has basically stayed the same... i do bout 65 on flat which beats basically every other ped i kno.. but im still wanting more top end.. but without boring it to a 70 or 72 cc and does any1 else have more advise in how i cood do this.. plzz tell if u do, many thx
