How easy is it to remove and repair/replace a 1994/5 Fiesta door lock? On the driver's door the lock will lock from the outside but will not unlock.

Any advice & instructions welcomed.

take the interior door panel out then pull back polythene then remove the bars off thr lock careful not to snap the clips rhen atchuley between lock and door and there is a metal plate slide it out and the lock will drop out then take it to fords they will reset it for about £20 let me know how u get on
