HI
IT HAS STILL GOT THE POWER JUST WONT PULL THROUGH IN 6TH FOR SOME REASON AND I PREFER TOP SPEED TO ACCELERATION WOULD A RACE CDI, RACE IGNITION AND 28MM CARB PULL ME THROUGH 6TH DO YOU THINK?

the carb will definately help you,
where as the cdi, well i dont think that would make much of a differance, nor the ignition
what carb have you got on it now ?

HI,i have a sym jet euro 50cc scooter and i want to deristrict it but i dont want to tear it all appart. is there a very easy way to make my scooter go faster and if so how can i do it?

there isnt much you can do really without tearing it bits,
the restriction IS on the variator, exhaust and jet
there is no restriction on the cdi!
you can either remove the breather pipe on the exhaust and the CAT but that involves a bit of welding and cutting
the variator, you'll definatley need an air gun, remove the variator and remove the clip restricting the travel of the variator
you may also want to remove the jet in the carb and replace it with a 80
mine has all of this done and does nearly 80kph and i weight about 20 stone !

tyson with the carb wats your set up and jets also exhaust engine size because i had this probelm i mite no wat it is

a malossi mhr 80s exhaust
metrakit 21 mm carb with a 92 main jet

the next thing i would do is fit a race filter im runing 21mm carb 92 jet race filter mk sp series borekit same exhaust this runs great...it either that you arent getting enough air to the kit or the carb may be to small i was try the race filter first i had this problem and the filter sorted it write back when u have more news hope im a help thanks luke

darrel, cant find any info bout your ped, but it will probabley be derestricted the same way every other ped is
that is there being either a breather pipe and or washer in the exhaust
remove them
there will probabley be a clip on the variator which you need to remove
you may also want to rejet your carb !

Alright i read ya comments im gettin this ped in ma pic
peugeot speedfight 2, 50cc, low miledge, and all its had done is the variator has been de-restricted ..nd i dnt knw much i was wanderin if u cud gimme a few tips on what to mod it up with first i want it to go henchly fast xD where bouts you live anyway

lol, well really you need a mechanic to do it, they wont charge you much for derestricting the exhaust
to do it yourself well, i suppose you could squeeze the breather pipe right to the end,
the breather pipe is another pipe that comes of your exhaust and makes a backpresure, thats what restricts it. i cant remember but you may have a washer in the exhaust, they can be pulled out easily
and because you bike is a euro 2 rate, it should have a CAT in it, so suppose you could do away if you like
and i live in Stoke (stafford) mate

first of all, if u are serious about gettin a relly relly fast, (not this 50mph stuff) but like 70 mph (wnt b faster no mater wot ppl say) then u shudnt get a speedfight as there are not as much raceing parts avalable for it. u want to get somethin with a minereli engine, like an aerox. however i had a speedfight, spend stupid abounts of money on it and it was completly race tuned (+nitros) and got 75 on a flat. i added u on msn, il give ya a few tips there.

I have a yamaha bws next gen, with everything stadard, but will upgrade the exhaust to a 70cc silencer when i get some money, in the meantime, could someone please walk me through derestricting it. add me to msn [Log in to view email]
