going slow hit the "no gear" in between 3 n 4 feels like the rings gone next to no power im taking it apart in the morning

hi i asked earlier if any one knows hot derrestrict my superbyke powerband 50cc moped please help as it only does 37mph its really annoying cheers

HI EVERYONE, I HAVE A MALAGUTI GRIZZLY 12 AND THINK IT MAKE BE RESTRICTED, IVE CHECKED THE EXAUST AND THERE IS NO WASHER TO RESTRICT IT, SO AM GUESSING MAYBE IN THE CARB? ANY CLUES OR ANY WAYS OF MAKING THIS MACHINE FASTER, THANKS ALOT.

I ran it in for about 400 miles staying below 6000 rpm (was sooo boring)
yeah take it apart and check but it should be ok i revved mine highh before it was run in and it was perfect.

i have a mz etz 251 luxes model 250 cc two stroke i have a slightly different carb from another mz bike the (starter jet is 35. main jet is 135.) but it should be (starter 50. main jet 130.) would this effect the performance of the bike with this slight change and how could i de restrict this just to go a little faster thanks bob the biker.

hallo mate i just read ya message saying tell me wot u got and ill tell ya how .so iwonder if u now how to derestrict a kmx 125 1986. and if you no how to get the kips to open at a lower rev.and if its possible to make the power valves open up more. cheers justin

hi i have an 04 plate dt're
its got a strate through pipe and i have the race reeds done
im not to sure i have been told ther is a restriction in the cdi but not sure and also im not sure if the powervalevs are fully open its does the sound wen i switch my ignintion on like sayin the powervalevs are openin or somehting but no to sure can you help me!!

how do i fully derestrict my yahama dtr its 04 plate
my powervalevs do the sound sayin they are openin but i aint sure if there openin fully:S how do i no this?
i also have a dep exhaust but i have been told thers a restritcion in the cdi how do i derestrict that?

Hi,
I have just bought a 55 nrg power dt and its restricted at the moment, i need to know how to de restrict it? would just fitting a sports exhaust be good enough?
Does anyone know anywhere good in essex that i could have my ped de restricted?

yes!! wow some1 else with a new rs50
starting with the exhaust u have to take a washer type thingy out of it and cut off the scavenging pipe of then weld it up.
or just get a new aftermarket exhaust for it (easier way)
then u will have to up jet ur carb to about a size 95 give or take.
and if u want more speed after all thats done get a bigger front sprocket a 13 tooth sprocket is what ive got on mine and its ok for acceleration and top end speed.
where bouts u at?

I've got a 2003 Zip 50, I think its standard, its done 3250km, goes really well but bogs down/cuts out at full throttle.
I think the exhaust has had the little stub removed from the downpipe and it seems to have a pipe with a rubber connector up into a black container???
any ideas would be great, cheers

hiya, just read your message there, i had a honda sfx50 and had exactly the same problem! i ended up putting a pipe on it which only made it louder, then added a new cdi and variator rollers, this had a slight impact making my maximum speed at around 50mph! although it was pricey! if you know a mechanic take the original exhaust and get the welds taken out, then add the cdi and rollers!

yer mate i can help its a four stroke i take it of course it is its an 08 well any way the best proble thing to do is check out the link ive made its bit old but does the job lol and y dont wanna buy sports exuast for it enless you tune the engine or rollers because the engine dunt like it runs it in to fast cus haz no time to relax so tune exuast it and derestrict it man it will go like stink there quite know for being rockets ma so becarefull doing the wrench time and write down were every thing goes lol if this helps u i will happy cheers
