Hi
i know this has nothing to do with derestriction but i have a 2007 rs50 and will be selling it in 1 month. is any1 interested.
it is already tuned and hits 87mph would probably hit 90 at a push. if you spent a bit more on tuning i wouldnt be suprised if it did 100mph
it has:
Malossi MHR Team 80CC bore kit. worth £350.00
Malossi MHR Team 80CC Exhaust. worth £250.00
Malossi RHQ Crankshaft. worth £300.00
Metrakit 21MM Carb. worth £120.00
Hebo Reed block. worth £30.00
PM Tuning Boost Bottle. worth £15.00

so over £1000 worth of tuning parts overall.

i am looking for around £2250
i know this seems alot
but this is a race bike on the road

yer ok dude basicly the maiin retriction is in the exaust its self so first off you will have to remove the exaust cos your bike new you will probs have a wine bottle filter meaing these a think that iver stick out the side of the exaust or out the top ie were it bolt so the engine so you chop them of but if it sticks out the side you need to weld it shut or braze with evers easyer for u mind you could just leave a bit and clamp it or curl it back closed ok if it dont have any of them two you will have resition washers in the pipe so take of the exaust and put a welding rod or any thing hard but flexible down the hole ie. the part bolted onto engine block..... then once you ind it mark the rod etc andd put it agist the exust on the out side to mach up then chop the exaust remove washer or washers if you find more then 1 and weld back together

Part 2 is easyer you just take of the veriator cover ie were the kick start is atached to and the will bo belt and veritor wall on the kick start side of the veritor ie left hand side ... then look under the belt and next to the veriator and the should be a washer on the veriator slide u can use a stanley blade to cut it out if its plastic most are or you can take it apart bye hand and remove it but if you do that make sure u use loctite thred glue to lock the bolt in place so it dunt fly off ok man it thats help full for ya and if you want any more tips just ask ok dude dont hesitate cus ive got like people asking all the time it dunt bother me

they are ever so healpfull
i think the restricter is in the exhaust and in the carb.
the one in th eexhaust is a washer type thing and the one in the carb is just a main jet, just go up a few sizes on that.
max :)

ok you've done the exhaust and now you'l need to up jet the carb otherwise u could be running lean and it'l seize.
and remove the washer fromt he variator that should give you better accelleration and a bit more topend
