check out the exhaust port or the exhaust is it restricted, check out the size of the carb is it under 19mm diameter?

revs at around 6000 and top speed on a very clear still day has been a little over 80mph ive not done anything to it myself asim not sure what to do but if i know where to look i will give it ago

ive just orderd a 91 cdi unit ive got a full big one exhaust system i would sell its onley 5 months old got a bit of rust on it £50 do u know were i can get a k+n air filter from i think mines running to rich as i get a lot of oil arround the end of my exhaust do u know how to ajust this how fast is ur dtr mine onley does 75mph

alrite.i noticed you seem to no a lot about bikes.i bought a piaggio nrg mc3 and got a m8 to d-restrict it.he chopped of a pipe going upwards from the exhaust and closed it up.it is now faster but makes an enourmous racket.how can i stop this.he has closed the gap as much as possible(so he says)

theres is no way im even attempting to make one prob solved now bought a 2 week old dep with a dent in it for a tenner and my mate got the equipment to take the dent out. and its chrome

mine does approx 105 mph i dont need ur exhaust but i got a mate who will probably will
that cdi unit needs to be pre 1991.
mine started pinking last night any one no how to sort pinking

johnny the best thing is a tzr 250 power valve with servo it works right through revs i know i have one

im not sure jhonny i counted sprockets last week i think it was 59 on rear and 16 on front

it sounds like the power valve is open get a decent exhaust and some racing reeds and get the carb rejetted to 240 main jet it will fly then

hii need a bit of help with my dtr125 F reg 1989.
it has fibre reeds
full dep motorcross system
pre 1991 cdi connected to an electronic power vavle which give full power from bottom to top end. speed is ok up to 80mph then it struggles but will keep going been clocked at 94mph! (with my 15.5 stone ass) anyway i was looking at the jetting the other day and noticed that my original main jet is only a 125 i tryed a larger jet ie 160 and ran like a dog? could anyone tell me what a 1989 dtr main jet should be. thanks

GET A SERVO KIT FOR THE POWERVALVE OR JUST PEG THE VALVE FULLY OPEN-MAKES THEM A BIT PEAKY IF YOU PEG OPEN THOUGH!

i have a piaggio velofax please canyou tell me where the restrictors are. i have changed wights to 6g and drilled through the end of the exhaust but the speed has only increased by 5 mph now it does 35mph.
