Fiesta zetec s rumbling clutch

Does anybody know what could be wrong with my car, sometimes when i start the car there is a rumbling noise coming from the clutch then when i put the clutch pedal down it gets worse then when i release the clutch it goes away again, i am getting worried about this, the car has only done 29k no way it should be needing a new clutch as it is not slipping.

that is definetley your thrust bearing if you dont already knoy know when u press the clutch the thrust bearing thrusts against the fingers on the pressure plate which seperates the two ................. you still got to remove gearbox to replace so it is advisable to replace the whole cluth if you take it to a garage obviously not ford it wiil probably cost from £130 - £180 at a guess hope this all helps
