Hi all. My Escort TD was making a funny noise for about a week. Took it to a garage who showed me that the downpipe was loose and was rubbing against the driveshaft. They said I needed a new downpipe which was over £200. Another garage told me (without seeing the car) that some bolts had just come off. Any ideas or past experiences?!?

get under front of car and just wiggle front pipe and look at the tje turbo and you will see and £200 is blooddy dear i get them trad plus 20% discount from a place called ses in bristol and would probably cost £50 at the most
