Is there any gaps in the flashes ? DaveH

Careful look of the flashes seem to confirm that each single flash is 5 secs apart and I think thios may confirm that the driver's airbag has a fault (nothing new here). I checked the wiring of the pre-tensioners and these looked OK, disconnected driver's side and the flashes went to 4 in quick succession. I think this confirmed that the pre-tensioner was faulty, reconnected and the same single flash returned. LOOKS like an expensive Ford job?? rcr

Single flash indicates a fault with the wiring/the air bag itself - or the spiral cable. More than likely it is the spiral cable itself - this is a device behind the steering wheel that keeps the air bag constantly connected to the vehicle system whilst the steering wheel is turning. DaveH
