Hi,
You will need some tools,
13 mm socket/ratchet or 13mm ring spanner, a philips screwdriver if the air filter is in a round filter housing, something to drain your oil into.
Not trying to be cheeky but do you know where these bits are before you start ?

First thing to do is to buy your parts - then you'll know what they look like.
Air filter is in a black housing on the right hand side of the engine (looking at it from under the bonnet) either held in by clips or screws.
Oil filter is on the back of the engine.
On the bottom of the engine is the sump plug - you need to undo this to drain out your old engine oil (I assume you are changing your oil as you are replacing the oil filter).
Best to replace the plastic sump washer that is on the plug.
Can you get the vehicle raised off the ground ? it will be easier to replace oil and filter if you can. Depending on how tight the last person to replace your oil filter has done it up will depend how easy it is to get off - sometimes you can twist them off by hand - if not you will need a filter wrench to undo it. When putting the new oil filter on smear a little bit of oil on the seal before fitting.
Engine oil needs to be a good 5W30 oil or ask for Zetec oil.
Dont forget to refill with fresh oil before starting ( may sound daft but easily done if you have never done it before)
Regards
Dave
