Hello!
There is a little brass screw at the inside of the circular lid at top of the carburator. Take that away! Than you shall lower the trottle to a position next to the bottom. The trottle is situated under the lid!
Good luck!

Hi,
I still do not know why the fuel gauge doesn't work, but I also noticed that the high beam indicator doesn't work either. Can the two problems be connected??
I will try and find out.
Lars

Hi,
I have experienced some problems with the electric starting. Sometimes it doesn't work properly. It sounds like the starting motor it just spins around. What can be the problem?

Easy,
I would also like to derestrict this bike. However i know nothing about bikes and this is my first. Can some one post me a picture/diagram of where the carb. and this brass screw/pin is.
I know they are under the seat. Is the carb the round thing with two screws holding it down??

Cheers

Hi, and thanks, but are you sure they know the model BT50QT-9. Is that on your policy? I have insurance through quoteline direct for £115.00 BUT THEY HAVE CLASSED IT AS AN FD50something-11
I am in communication with them about it.

Don't bother cutting the plastic to De-restrict, just take out the brass screw altogether (keep it somewhere safe though) this will allow the bike to do 45mph
