HAD A CRASH, HURTS LIKE HELL NOT SERIOUS THOUGH JUST BRUISING TO SHOULDER AND BACK. THANK GOD FOR HELMETS. BIKE HAD A FEW SCUFFS WHICH I HAVE SPRAYED OUT NEARLY AS GOOD AS NEW, STAY SAFE ALL

Hi, i've just fitted an 80cc kit to my jl50qt-5. does anyone know what the valve clearences are as i've fitted it and the engine is popping under load??

elloo iv go a boation that happend to myn i just took the casing of on the front and one of the black boxes was disconected i just plugd it back in

Hi,
Can anyone help, I have a problem starting my Baotain 49 QT-9 scooter with both electric start & Kick start. I do not know if it needs charging or if their is another problem with the scooter. If it needs charging where can I get one from ???? also where can I get a manual on this bike. either PDF or Paper [Log in to view email]

Evening again all.Went out tonight to have a tinker to see if I could de-restrict my BT50-QT-12 and I cannot locate this mysterious "pink wire". There is also no screw in the cap of my carburettor, and the washer on the needle is already set to the middle space. However I still struggle to do over 33mph. Any ideas? Cheers.

Deristriction. Try the mod i posted on page 142.
clamp or tie of the ruber pipe that comes of the exhoust. good luck, Les.

hi im changing the belt on my bt49-qt old one bkoke, got a new 10" and having a real scruff to fit it, anyone have any tips to make it easier ?

unscrew the headlight cover and chek the wiring 4 corosion also check the belt aswell

STU On Page 142 i posted the 2 main deristrictions.
start at picture 2,remove the brass screw,then block the rubber pipe that comes off the exhoust.

Hi,Try insurance with Dial Direct I've used these for the Baotain 49cc (they class it a 50 but really it's a 49cc and third party cost me £79 on a provisional licence, thats providing you pass your CBT).

check the fuel sender in the top of the tank,they are prone to sticking,if not that it will be a bad connection,just follow the wires to the plug and check.hope this helps

i have the same model as you and trust me there a f**king nightmare to get speed out of, to hit 55 on one ull need a 20mm cvk carb, a malossi drive belt, a new variator, rollers and possibly a new clutch, my advice 2 you would be to sell it quick and buy a 2 strole eg. gilera, ive had to spend near enough 1000 on mine to keep it running!
