everyone's talking about deristriction.. DONT BOTHER TRYING TO DO THAT IT WILL CAUSE THE SCOOTER PROBLEMS IN THE END GUARUNTEED. go to ebay.. buy a 21mm oko manual choke carb, get it fitted,, then go to central scooters buy a new variator, rollers and kevlar drive belt, and there you have it 55 - 60 mph without all the problems that come after de restriction.

Hi. Mine got steadily worse to start then packed up compleatly. As the battery was getting weaker, there was not enough cranking power to operate the fuel vacuum switch. I changed the spark plug to a NGK 4629 C7HSA and after jump starting from my car battery have had no probs at all, starts instantly. Hope this helps. Regards Chris

the fuel sender sometimes gets stuck, you have to take the plastics off to get at it.the sender is at the top of the tank, just behind the filler.when you take it out, turn the ignition switch on and move the float up and down, good luck

easy this one, your fuel lines frayed. just go on ebay or somewhere and buy some scooter fuel lines, they just slip on when you need to replace them.good luck

Hi I've got a Baotian 49... rocky to. It runs well, without any problem. Anyone knows when should I change the brake pads by the front wheel? I have done more than 4000 km. Thanks

Help please...I have a baotian 49qt12 and the drive belt snapped a while ago. I ordered a replacement belt & it was fitted by a friend(original belt was b788-17-30 & the replacement is b788-17-29 not sure if this could affect the drive?). When the bike is on the center stand it starts fine & revs(wheel turns too) but when I take it off the stand it just stays idle with no revs or movement! Does anyone know what it could be?

youve got the wrong belt fitted.when theres no friction at the rear wheel it will spin when on stand, off stand it wont budge as the belt is not tough enough to take the exess torqe, advise you to get original belt, you will see the diffrance straight away, hope this helps, always use frame and engine no when buying new parts,it pays in the end.

thanks for your help. The only problem is I bought the belt from Central Scooters who said the belts are all the same dependant on your wheel size(12 inch in this case). When I look on Chinese Scooter Parts site they only have the B788-17-28 or the B788-18-30 not the B788-17-30 that came off the bike! Anyone know where I can get the correct drive belt?
