I recently derestricted my Boatian BQT49 by cutting the pink wire , Waring it does work but causes loss of Power when starting a journey for the first 5 minuites but then kicks in and gives alot of power, I am disapointed with th eresult and if i was you i wouldent advise doing this big disapointment , Think about it if you want it done properly Pay 100 pound rather than Lose ya bike worth 800 :S

Hope you can help me I have a Baotian Tanco BT49QT12 my drive belt has snapped and I need a replacement have tried Chinese Motor Cycle Parts online (not very helpful) tried 2 belts they had advertised but were too short (788mm) they told me they stretch.Then in a snotty tone asked me if I had correct make and model. The mechanic that has my bike reckons I need a one about 830mm approx cant be exact as old one in a thousand bits and cant read part no. Have you any idea of the size I need and where I might get one from.

A simple rule to follow is if your scooter has 10 inch wheels you require a 10 inch belt if your scooter has 12 inch wheels you will require a 12 inch belt. QT12 = 12 INCH BELT QT11 + QT9 + QT7 = 10 INCH BELT QT9S HAS 12 INCH WHEELS = 12 INCH BELT

the petrol pump thing pumps out petrol when i suck it the spark plug is sparking and i put my finger over the hole for the spark plug and there is compression all the wires seem to be fine it will try to start but will not actually start some one please help also i am thinking about a 80cc kit for it but am not sure on how to fit them am not the best of a mechanic but i know what am doing when i come to engines except from timing and etc and do not want to completely f*** up the engine by installing it wrong anyone got any easy understandable tips and pictures?? thanks
It sounds like the high voltage is shorting in stead of jumping the plug gap.

the clip on the needle is norm on the no2 slot going down this allows the position of the throttle slide, check that the throttle cable is seated in the cable housing correct its common for them to slip out a little ,this gives you not the full throttlle opening check your plug,not coming loose quiet common on chinese bikes make the carb the last result to strip down if u not know wat your doing G&J motorcycle rescue recovery/repairs
